Hi, I am visiting my daughter in London, be here around 8 weeks. She has a Skoda Fabia and it's currently in the garage. So far the mechanic has not been able to diagnose the fault. Plan to 'hunt' this site for clues and assistance.

If you chuck a description of the car (year, fuel, 8 or 16v head if petrol, and engine size being the main points) and symptoms on the relevant Fabia support forum someone is bound to know something!
