Reset Octavia Mkii back to variable service via vcds

Featured Replies

hi all

my mate has a mkii octy (05 reg) 1.9tdi 4x4 and has just had a service at an independent where theyve used long life oil but told him its not possible to put him back on variable and have put him to fixed! He wants to go back to variable as hes only just had it done and with the garage not being up to it hes asked me if vcds can be used,

Ive had a search around here but only really found threads for mk1 octys.

Is it possible after being put to fixed and whats the best method in vcds. I found this on tyresmoke.net but it was for any audi so not sure if it is correct

VAG Com procedure.
