I followed the guide by Jon to install the locking on my MK1 MY1999 Octavia.

However it locks but doesn't unlock, I put a 180ohm resistor on the unlock wire but still nothing.

Does it matter I make 180ohms using my multimeter and a series of different value resistors and ended up with 178ohms it shouldn't make a difference because they are out by 10% anyways right?

Always when I connected the indicators up to the recommend wires they flashed as they should but the wipers moved as well :S

Really need help to get this going guys manual locking really annoys me.

Plus where to put the window up and down outputs.

A little step by step guide would be benefical. Many thanks.
