Recommendations ....thinking of going to a pro...

Featured Replies

Right in summary I've had my black Octavia vRS for just over a year now with it turning 3 years old I figured it was time for a bit of a spruce up if that's possible!

I'm after recommendations of anyone in the North West area ideally based around the Chester / Manchester / Warrington areas although I admit it's hit and miss on whether anyone in particular! Truth be told though I have no idea what I'm shopping for!

Other than a tidy up and nice shiny finish i'm looking for something that'll last for a fair amount of time particularly with the wheather we tend to have in the uk.

There are a couple of tiny chips that could be touched up on the bumper but with not being very good with the wet and dry paper i've simply left if until I have the car detailed.

The cat is suffering from the usual swirl marks and has some light white looking straches all over it which can probably be touched up pretty easily by someone who knows what they're doing......... the local cats have taken quite a shining to the car so i'm planning on covering it over once its been done, most of the scratching has come from cats claws :thumbdwn:

So in summary how much do you think I'll be looking at?

Do you have any recommendations?

What sort of treatments am I actually looking for and how much should I expect to be paying!

I'll try and get some photos up when I can as I understand it depends on the scratches and all but most are pretty light anyway.

Baker21 will be your man, assuming the distances aren't too far. Drop him a PM to see if he can do you a deal. Not sure about his prices, but the work quality is very high.

£35 per hour is about the current rate.

So full detail is roughly £300-400

thats not what i thought it meant lol.

think its probably more work friendly to change the banner to . proffesional .

I currently am booked in with Baker21 for a couple of weeks time.

The only other decent one i found around the northwest charges more than double what Baker does and gives the same effect. So it was a no brainer.

Baker21 + Petrol = Foooooking clean car & money still in my pocket :D:D
