Just an FYI for anyone concerned,

Myself (and every other dealer) will be getting a LHD Yeti for a day at some point in the near future.

The car will come with a driver from Skoda who will be happy to take the car out with you as a passenger so you can get the feel of the car, however staff nor customers can drive the car due to insurance reasons.

I'll update this thread when I know what date I have the car, hopefully it will be a weekend and maybe the local people can have a little mini-meet and see what we all think of the new car.

I'm convinced that someone on here will after seeing it in the flesh and having ridden in it will order one before the UK launch.

Just like the Superb except we are allowed to take customers for demonstraton rides.

Should be good, I reckon it will be all sorted for 2 weeks time.

Skoda also have 10 Yetis in the publicity caravan that precedes the Tour de France; looks like their pulling out all the stops publicising their new car!

Glad to here that we may get a chance to meet the Yeti at last, and as James points out it could be a good opportunity for Skoda to get some early orders in before the launch in 10 weeks time.

Hopefully Skoda UK will now be more forthcoming with information as to spec, options and price.

Considering the amount of information already in circulation their web site appears still to be trying to track it down.

Makes me wonder if their not taking the mystery of the abominable snowman thing a bit to far.:snowman:

We at Farmers in Notttingham have the Yeti LHD demo on 6th August for anyone in the notts area that wants to come along for the afternoon.

Would be ggod to see a lively turnout!

There were 2 yetis present at the Briskoda Rally today in Gaydon, apparently the first 2 to arrive in the UK (yesterday), I think it was great the Skoda UK would choose our rally to first show them in the UK,

Does anyone know the full date schedule for the Yeti's UK tour?

The Yeti's will be visiting every dealer in the country throughout the end of July and through August, your closest dealer will have details of the dates now. We have our date and I no majority of other dealers have theirs.

It says to me that SUK do indeed realise the strength and importance of the forum. It must make Colin very proud to have reached such a point.
