Replacing my skoda badges??

Featured Replies

I just got my new VRS FAB and the skoda badges front and back look a light blue rather then a green i was wondering if anyone knew where to get replacments of ever better different ones? and are they easy to fit yourself? thanks

blaw:cool:

they do tend to fade over time - OEM replacements are available direct from any dealer (a quick search should even give you a a part code) or ebay has a large selection or alternatively I can get you some made up (clickable blue link in my sig) ;)

oh and they are a piece of pi$$ to change

SWEET. PMin now mate thanks

My old badges went blue as well, so I replaced mine with Black ones which are the same as the newer engine cover badge.

Can the Skoda badges be modded in the same way the old Ford badges could?

Anyone know? Scrape off the green and repaint with any colour you want?

You would have to peel off the plastic laminate to repaint them and reseal with something else like lacquer. The old badges tend to go milky around the edges when water ingresses and they are they would need a steady hand as the design is very intricate, that would make it more difficult to repaint.
