Hello, Im looking at getting a fabia vrs 2003-2005 model. I currently drive a honda civic ek9 type r, i really love this car but my work has just moved buildings and its even further away now than before .I am looking for somthing with good mpg, i get about 25-28mpg with my type r and thats going easy :thumbdwn: and im looking at getting a decent diesel car to replace my type r which will eat up the miles and return me good mpg. I have always liked the vrs but never really thought about buying one untill now .I just have a few questions for you that might help me do the swap from petrol to diesel.

1) I will be wanting it chipped but were and who are the best ppl to do it and what kind of price will i be looking at (in scotland)?

2) what sort of gains will i get from the chip and will it affect my mpg ?

3) what are the common faults and are they cheap for parts ?

im looking at getting one as standard as possible.
