Lowering 1.4 on 15" alloys?

Featured Replies

I like the look of the AP Coilovers and the price, will I need any other alterations if I were to fit them on my 1.4 MPI , my wheels are 195/50/15's so I have tons of clearance to the wheel arch liner, infact I will measure it now and take a pic.

Any other options to the AP's or are they the best for the dollar?

Cheers

There will be no issues at all with the AP's as long as they are the correct load rating for the 1.4. Bolt straight on and could probs be lowered all the way with no real issues.

I have mine lowered and an extra inch on the wheels and still nothing needed removing.

I haven't experienced the Koni's but did have really cheap ones on my old corsa. (even cheaper than the Koni's) They do the job, and give you a decent lowered stance, but will never be as low as adjustables.

If it were me i would get the AP's, just cause i like 'em low!!

The AP's seem to be getting on with people well!

I went for some cheap euro coilovers (£300) but im yet to fit them, i cant tell you how they are!
