Skoda 110R rollcage?

Featured Replies

Hi there I have been on the search for a skoda 110R roll cage as I am at the moment preparing mine for rally. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of a bolt in cage? The car is currently in czech so would be brilliant if someone had contacts. Do any UK companies produce one?

Thank you

Filip

If the car is in CZ, I'd suggest that you try John Shelley (a.k.a. Skofast)

cheers .. Darren

I'd be surprised if cages designed/produced "in period" were anything other than 6-point bolt-in designs. Even door bars are quite likely to be later additions.

If you carnt get one in Czech then I doubt you will get one over here. The cage in my s100 started life as an original safety devices rear cage, then a front cage and extra legs bracing and door bars were added.

You need to see if you need a FIA spec cage and ask if you can tag the cage to the shell. If you need an FIA cage then you will have to have one designed and made by a rollcage maufacturer. If you are doing fia historic event they are funny about tying the cage to the shell in the roof. I advise you bolt to the top of the 'A' and 'B' posts and carry the rear legs down to near where the link pivots are.
