Kumhos or Hankooks

Featured Replies

They sound pretty good to me.

Road noise was a worry but they can't be as bad as my rubbish old Federals

That's me sorted for my holiday then. Cheers chicken_eyebrow

My front two - Michelin Primacy HP on 53 Octavia 1.9TDi are down to 2mm. So, will be buying replacements soon. The HPs have gone for 27,000 miles so far. The two rear Bridgestone Tuanza E300 still at 5mm after 40,000 plus (though only lasted 9,000 on the front).

The HPs are a bit noisy and expensive but seem to last. Think I might just get some more unless anyone can advise me of something better?

For grip and noise they're awful. For longevity they're one of the best. Up to you.....

Personally, I would let them near my car. If you want to stick with Michelin, check out Pilot Sports or Pilot Exaltos. Both excellent. Otherwise, save yourself some money and buy Hankook Evo K110 V12s or for mid-money Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas.
