Flip Key

Featured Replies

I have a flip key and was wondering if it could be programmed to my car. Are there any tutorials on how to do this? It has a new blade, so will need that cut.

Hi Deebe

You will need the key cutting first, than you will need the SKU number from the plastic

bit that was supplied with the car, and use Vag-com to program it for the imoblizer, and as

for programming the fob to open the doors, there is a process discribed on this forum, do a search for it.

PS if you have not got the sku number, you can get it from the dealer at a cost

I bought the car second hand quite recently, and I have no idea what an SKU number is or indeed where to find it. I just knew it was going to cost me a good few quid to have a second key!

Hi again

If you have a folder with a service/handbook, have a look in there for small peice

of plastic aprox 2"x1/4 with some numbers on it, one will be the radio code and

the other will be the SKU number

as I say you can get it from the dealer, something like £30 I beleive

So it can be done
