Fabia 1.2 servicing

Featured Replies

Just bought myself a 4 year old 1.2 three cylinder model (not sure whether it is the higher power model, though think it may be - registered 2005). Slow but cracking little unit and it sounds superb.

I'm planning on doing the servicing myself. It has covered 48k. Chatting to a Skoda mechanic, he told me that the fuel filter would last the life of the vehicle. I'm always a little suspicious when told service items are lifelong.

Should I be changing this anyway ?

I was planning on doing an oil service and replacing the air filter and pollen filter (assuming it has one). Anything else other than the fuel filter that I should consider changing ?

Check the service book to see what service is required and it will require a brake fluid change every 2 years.
