Fabia Lowering Springs

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I was wondering do normal Skoda Fabia springs fit a Fabis VRS?

Thanks, Dan

Anyone?

try the main fabia forum, think this would be better suited there fella,

but to answer your question, think the vRS springs have to be stiffer to cope with the extra heavy engine,

Yes they will fit physically, but there are problems;

1. The vRS has a heavier engine/gearbox than any other Fabia, so you need the right spring rates to compensate.

2. The vRS sits 15mm lower than any other Fabia, so other springs change the ride height differently.

So, the simple answer is no, they don't - get vRS springs for a vRS.

Thanks for that, the hunt is on!

I want to drop it as low as i can as i am saving for coilovers but thats going to take some time.
