Just ordered mine for the Octy.:D

Oh dear !

I like the before and after pics on the ad...not even the same hub ! :D

If it looked tidy I'd be tempted as I really can't be assed too paint mine. What would worry me is the fact you have a bit of plastic glued inside something that spins very fast. Wouldn't fancy that coming off down the motorway.

yeah, never mind that there made of plastic. Bet they would start to melt if you used your brakes too much

Definately coming to an Asda carpark near you!

You all Mock.. but look what they say...

Change your caliper cover now.

Your CAR will look Great. Guarantee!!

You can't argue with that now, can ya!

Pad change will be a laugh :)

i've had my front pads on fire at a track day , just imagine scraping all the melted plastic off the inside of the wheel

We had a customer in a while back with a Mk4 R32 with a set of these in yellow.

I stood there in awe that his brembo brake kit was actually rubbing away against the wheel itself and then the penny dropped. Hang on, this isnt a brembo kit, it's a plastic cover lol.

Very big no no...

That's just plain stupidity.. they bought an R32 and then stuck these on? Surely if buying an R32 you'd have the kind of mindset to buy real Brembo's?

Or appreciate the fact you had 312's (I'm guessing the R32 has 312's?)

Silly owner, probably prefers his mates Corsa anyway.. ;) :rotz:

I've seen them possibly on there with fake brake pipes as well. That one looks kind of all right. I suppose it's like those fake silver brake discs on Drum brakes to imitate better brakes.

With the covers glued on, I wonder how you get to the bolts to change the pads?
