I'm wanting an LSD for my Corrado, Its fitted with a 2003 AUQ Octy vRS motor and 'box!

Got the chance to buy a new 2nd hand Quaiffe LSD, it's for a MK4 Golf GTI though, I'm sure the octy's came with 02A Gearboxes with push in flanges????

Here are the 2 diffs from quaife:

02A : Volkswagen Golf 02A Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential - Quaife Engineering

Mk4: Volkswagen Golf Mk4 GTi 1.8T Quaife ATB Helical LSD differential - Quaife Engineering

They look completely different :confused:

Anyone shed any light??????

02J 'box has bolt in flanges though dunt it???? Mine's got push in flanges a la Mk3 golf VR6! Did some come with an 02j and other with an 02A perhaps????

nope all came with 02j gearbox not sure about the other bit lol

I'm pretty sure the code is stamped on the box somewhere.....

All the vRS AUQ's came with an O2J.

02J has bolt in flanges, if you want to fit push in flanges you have to change the diff.

02J box has code stamped as shown here;
