Tools Advice, Please...

Featured Replies

Off to France in a couple of weeks and collecting all the necessary bits. As my tool kit is a bit antique, col ld someone please advise me as to what tools I need to do bulb changes, please?

Access to the rear lights and removal of the headlight units require no tools at all - do a search for instructions on changing the headlights to continenal setting, again tool free.

Make sure you get a full set of the proper bulbs to carry as spare, illegal not to on the conti, some bulbs sets do not cover all the correct bulbs.

You will need a small flathead screwdriver to convert the headlights to flat beam for continental driving (I've done this and it's very straightforward). All the bulb replacements are tool free - the plugs to the headlight units are a complete pain to remove to the degree that I have so far been unsuccessful in my attempts so far...
