Well im not sure if someone has put this up before but yesterday i fitted some of these wind deflectors you see on ebay. I got them for £15 delivered!

I only got the front ones as i have a fun pick up.

Got to say that althought i was a bit dubious at first, they actually work. They have made the windows push hard against the seal and the wind noise is drastically reduced. Also, rain water now runs off the windows much better.

I think they have impoved the looks of the pick up too.

Just thought id let you guys know in case you had been looking at them.

Other item i brought was a plastic tailgate cover. I removed the existing steel tailgate peice and replaced with with the plastic one. Saving around 4 kilos in weight.

It looks loads better and obivously wont rust. Result i think!

Where did you get the plastic tailgate cover from?? I have a steel one that i was going to paint and fit but a plastic one sounds ideal.

Also get some pics up of the car with the wind deflectors as i ahve sen them on cars before and they can look grim!!

i got it off ebay off a seller call buttsofbrawny or something, ill check later. it was a bit expensive at £30 but i think worth it. The seller has put up loads of stuff in the past few days. seems to be reasonably priced to be honest

ill get some pics later. Im fitting new drums, slave cylinders, shoes, wheels bearings later. Im actually going to have brakes that work...!!!! :eek:

Skoda Felicia Pick-up Protecive Floor for Tailgate on eBay (end time 18-Jul-09 00:10:55 BST)

I had the wind deflectors on my fun, they were spot on in wet weather as you can leave the windows open a bit, when you leave it, thus alowing a bit of air circulation and no more steaming up. Ive just got a set for my fabia from Butts, £22 for all four

I'm a fan of the fog light grilles for the Favorit which butts of bawtry on ebay are currently selling. Just little bits of plastic but I think they improve the look

Been meaning to get some wind deflectors for some time now. They do look good!

I think butts are selling their Skoda stock off on e-bay as I'm sure they've stopped supplying it now.

ahh i wondered why it was cheap. Im pleased with the bits though. I think the rear tailgate cover looks great. Looks better than painting the original.

Now to use this loading bay rubber paint stuff in the rest of it!
