VAG-COM ESP fault codes - Octy II

Good evening,

I got a cable off ebay to scan my car.

I had trouble accessing some of the modules, could this be because I am using

a -HEX adaptor when I have read it should be a micro-CAN ?

The car is an Octavia II

A Hex cable isn't really going to give you anything useful.

Get it properly scanned using a HEX-CAN or Micro CAN genuine cable or a dealer scan before you start spending money on parts.

Infotainment system switches itself on

Hi, It happened twice now that I walked past my parked and locked Mk IV Octavia and I noticed that the infotainment system was on and the radio playing. Anyone had this before? Both times it was on a sunny day, so quite warm inside the car. Is there any way so that the infotainment system can only be switched on with a key present? Car is from Sep 2020 with 1941 software version. Thanks, Peter

So had both rear control arms replaced as the bolt was seized so I couldnt get the tracking done..now the tracking place say they can't get the camber inside spec because there is no adjustment for that and it will be OK as toe is good now.. Have attached the results.. Is the camber adjustment not this bolt in the pic..(which stands a chance is seized aswell)

Hello Does anyone have any knowledge of how to remedy issues with the RNS510 Columbus stereo cutting out, and a pulsing kind of heartbeat sound being emitted from the speakers?
