Hi,

I have the same Superb with the 1.9Tdi engine. My Superb is a company car which since mid January '09 has covered 16,500 miles.

The only issue has been the foglights which collected moisture on the inside, however, they were swiftly replaced under warranty by my local dealer, Startin Skoda. Since then, the nearside foglight has misted up again, but not to the same degree as before. The offside foglight is fine.

I am very pleased with the car and it is nice to drive something that is a rare sight on UK roads. Since January, I think I've seen a dozen other Superbs. Compare that to the number of Passats and Mondeos in current circulation!

Does your car have Michelin Energy tyres? Mine has and I've been impressed with the grip and slow wear rate. The fronts have 4mm while the rears have 6mm. the extra load sidewalls do reduce comfort, but reduce lean in corners.

The fuel economy has been impressive (av. 54-55mpg) and better than my Octy, although, I think I'm driving more sympathetically.
