Speccing up my LEDS

Featured Replies

Hi all, I'm close to ordering my vRS now but to help spread the load I'm trying to get all the extra bits an bobs first like the must have alloy tax holder, number plate surround etc! One of the things I want to do is swap the bulbs for LEDs.

I know this has been done to death but could someone me do a list of the bulbs specs? I have done a search but not come up with much.

I think so far I have the side lights as T10.

So its:

SIDELIGHTS - T10

FRONT INDICATORS -

SIDE INDICATORS -

REAR INDICATORS -

TAIL STOP -

HIGHLEVEL STOP -

REVERSE -

NUMBERPLATE -

INTERIOR BOOT -

REAR INTERIOR -

FRONT INTERIOR -

GLOVEBOX -

Do the interiors have bulb detecting on them?

Thanks all. (hopefully the list could be made a sticky to help others.)

interior lights dont have bulb detection just the outer ones.

The only lights you can get as LED's at the moment are Sidelights. These are what you want:

LED Sidelights

As for the rest (not interior) in Theory you can get the others to work but you will have to include resistors aswell. I haven't found anywhere yet where you can get the rest with built in resistors. No doubt they will get done one day.

So you have 2 choices. Wait or install your own resistors.

See here for LED Bulbs

See here for the types you need just fill in the Form and it tells you what each bulb is.

Interior bulbs you can just direct replace look at LED festoon bulbs in the link above.
