twice this week coming home from work my air con has blown hot air for a few seconds then back to icey cold.

whats the problem ?

youve had air con on in this weather?? lol. does it do this from starting up or whilst the car has been on for a long time?

Ask the dealer to look into it under warranty.

I've had the same experience. Might be something to do with the thermostat sorting itself out. What seems to stop it is to move the temperature setting up a notch from the coldest setting.

Do you hear any sound when pressing the AC button???

Sound like air going through tight tubes??
