The day dawned bright and clear, so I thought I'd give the new Roomster a wash and wax. Whilst soaping the rear window and admiring the striking rear light clusters, I managed to snag the end of the rear windscreen wiper in the wash mitt and break it off! Thought there things were supposed to be built with tutonic strength, out of old U-boats - apparently not. On inspection the plastic bit that broke was very thin and brittle.

Only delivery mileage and already I'm at the dealers getting parts! Apart from that everything seems to be working fine, She Who Must be Obeyed likes the height adjustable seats and is impressed by the room inside. However, she still pines for our old V70, which we had for 11 years - commenting, "there's our car!" should we pass one on the road. I cheer her up by saying that like the V70, the Roomster is easy to find in the car park, with the added benefit that children run up asking to buy for ice creams!

Ain't thát the truth! Wherever you park your Roomster, you'll always find it back. Contrary to the owners of more inconspicuous (spelling?) cars who I happen so see looking for theirs in a full parking lot. Always good fun:thumbup:
