Will hammerite hammered dark green be ok ?

Cos i got given some and was thinking of using it on my calipers?

any hammerite smooth should do the job

but it will be a different darker shade than the VRS standard

Hammerite dark green is really, really DARK - almost black in fact. I kow, cos. I've been repainting some garden furniture with it.

Unfortunately, the old Hammerite Green which matched is no longer made - luckily I've still got half a can left, and am guarding it with my life

i know this post is 12 month old but just wana say smooth green hammerite paint IS still available to get which is an exact mach for the skoda green. got some myself off ebay last week.
