Upgrading a Classic octavia estate.

Featured Replies

Can anybody tell me how easy it is to upgrade the spec of a clasic Octavia estate. It is on an 07 plate but is the old shape which is a bit confusing. (how does this happen?) Which is why I didn't know where to post the thread.

What I am after is to add things like:-

1) Trip computer that tells you the temp and mpg etc.

2) rear speakers

3) CD changer. The head unit will take one I have checked.

4) This is a big ask but can air con be added as a retro fit?

The first three I was hoping that the wiring might be already installed and that it is quite straight forward.

Any help would be appreciated.

D.

I thought the mk1s were still created for just the taxi firms these days and not available to the public!

Air con would be a massive thing to add and not sure if it would even be doable

The octaiva 2 clasic estate has manual a/c & 4 loud speakers 2 front & 2 rear has standard kit.

Where do you get your car serviced in Bournmouth as there dosn't appear to be a Skoda dealer near by. As my parents have just bought an Octavia and don't know where to go. They live in Bournmouth.

Meadens of Sway would be your best bet. They are an excellent Garage
