Race Blue Cherry Popping............

Featured Replies

Baker21 - Not wanted to annoy ur customer but what products would you recommend for caring for the Racing blue colour? Would you try a different wax next time or doesn't it matter on paint colours?

Super job. It is definately the best colour ever to have been put on a car.

For those of us who know nothing of the subject. What sort of figure do you charge for this level of detail?

My car (race blue) is two years old and racks up a lot of miles so is starting to look a bit 'used' and could do with this kind of treatment (and I have neither the patience or ability to do myself).

PM would be great of you don't want to discuss prices on here.

Thanks

Ahhhh beautiful - just beautiful mate!!! Really nice work Simon.

I wonder if i'll get my act together and be the next Race Blue Octy2?

I like the detail and mods on this car too - it's owner should be proud. Unfortunately i have a few stone chips and bumper issues to sort first.... but soon...very soon.... i'll get things in order! Hmmm.

It just takes SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bloody long to get the first big detail out of the way though! I spent 2 full days the other week doing stuff with my car and still didn't make it to getting the PC out the garage to sort the paintwork! I just don't have the motivation to keep doing it like that so often like I used to do with my Fabia. I guess it'd be different if I had a garage to keep the car in, but when I have to park it under a tree that seems to have the entire bird population of Surrey living in it I just get disheartened by the next morning! :(

Must admin having a a garage is a real bonus. I love mine :D

Nope ;)

Blimey, they're queueing up! :D

That looks beautiful. Yep, we're queuing up. Wasn't too sure about the Race Blue when I swapped from black but really love it now. How long does a detail like that take?

Pretty much all day it took Simon to do mine. But that was probably due to the Amount of swirls etc.

Top Tip. Don't use a Silicon Blade to dry the car

May be a long time but the Work Simon puts in and the result are more than worth it

Already stopped using mine on Baker's advice.

Never used one since I saw a lad but a perfect scrath down his bonnet at a car rally - just too risky.

You can buy specific waxes and sealants for different colours but I have come to love Zaino as it works well on all colours, I intend to bring a lot of their products back from the US in September...........:D
