Be Broadband Customers in here!

Featured Replies

Up until the end of August, Be customers who signed up before April 2009 can get 2 months free for signing up on a 12 month contract. Just create a Billing ticket and ask for the offer.

Alternatively, you can ask them to reduce the price by pointing out that O2 offer a cheaper service for the same product.

I've had mine reduced from £17.50 a month to £12 :)

How did you find out about that?! :)

My ticket has now been created, "I signed up for a 12-month contract before April 2009. Please can I have 2 months free". :D

Don't think this will apply to me, as I have been signed up since 2007

So have I. Of course it applies to you.

I've been with them since Oct 2007, so yes you're eligible as well. They've replied to say if I renew for another 12 months from now, I can have the 2 months free. I might still be off to O2 anyway though now, as it's got me thinking :)

I'm an O2 customer, so can still use Be's network, but get some extra bells and whistles and still pay less per month... and get the 2 free month deal

So thanks for the heads up; not that it's quite worked out as I planned though

Cheers,

Steve

I'm eligable, but bearing in mind their recent performance there is no way in hell I'm signing up for another 12 months.

Just to update this, I asked Be if they would also give me two months free and this was the reply:-

Dear Mr Gill, Thank you very much for your reply. The "2 months free" offer is valid only for the 17.5 GBP monthly fee (12 months contract). The 12 pounds offer is valid for loyal customers, keeping the same Terms&Conditions. Please update the ticket with the promotion you would like to use. We will happily switch you to it. Thank you for your time. Kind Regards, Nessy/Be Team

So basically, you can have either offer. If you don't want to be tied down to a 12 month contract, then simply ask for the price to be reduced.

Wonder why I didn't get that reply

Suppose it depends how you worded yours :)

Still think I'm off to O2 though - seeing as it's the same, but under a different name, and cheaper (for me).

Steve
