Hi guys, Im new here. I could do with some information on the Octavia if you don't mind? It might sound odd but I am after three of them for a strange marketing role...

Was there ever a vRS pretender with a lower spec engine but with the bodykit? They have to be white too so was it available in this colour?

What can I expect to pay for a vRS bodykit inc fitting and paint? Any choice sources on this forum? Any alternative bodykits that give the same idea that you might suggest?

1. Not sure what to expect for 6k - depends on the model you choose..

2. No - not a vRS pretender. The only vRS available in white was the vRS Rally edition (limited run) unless it was a police car!

3. Really dont know - ring a dealer and ask. Skoda parts arent as expensive as you may think.

4 - The vRS is the largest wheel for the Octavia as std but some of the other VW group wheels fit.

5 - Personally I would look out for a police auction or look at getting the vRS Rally's. Theyre already liveried up as you mention. See below for a piccie. I have also copied the complete list of Octavia hatchbacks in white from the Skoda used car list..

There are a few white RS's. Although as stated they are rare out of WRC spec. I have seen one in the flesh in Cornwall. They were made as part of an order that was somehow shipped accidentaly and the dealer registered them; well two of them.

Is it a long term marketing project?

The reason I ask is a few of us have the white vRS's without the m-sport livery stickers. Might be cheaper than buying three, if suitable of course.

As to body styleing differences, the only major difference is the front bumper, rear wing (although found on some otehr models), caliper colour and exhaust exit. The front is the key along with calipers, although the bumper would be suffice to get most I'd say, or the badge...mine passes as a 1.4 very well
