Springs / Remaps / Rear Electrics.

Featured Replies

Hello all.

Sorry this is my first post here.

Just ( literally ) bought a 57 plate Roomster 2 1.9 TDi and very happy with it , but would like some info from you guys regarding mods ( frightening really ! )

I want to lower the car a little. I have seen springs on ebay for £138 , but they are unbranded. Are there any others that you could recommend ?

I also like the engine , its smooth and seems refined , but I want more power and torque. Do you guys use a suggested remapper ?

Last thing , I bought a roomster 2 , and note it has no electric rear windows , but , I want to add in electric rears. I note the roomster 2 SE and the 3 have this. Can i simply swap the motor in , and the relevant door card ? What I am asking is all the electric plumbing in ?

thanks Folks !

I don't know about your other queries, but the rear electric windows on my 3 were a factory fitted option. I don't think they are standard on any version but I stand to be corrected.

Hi

When it comes to remapping , maybe worth checking someone out who is repitable , near to you too

There are many so called maps out there , but please be aware that some other maps can be a bit of a headache afterwards if there are any issues

With the lowering , we have sold a few of the Eibach ones for the vRoomster`s

No issues there with them , and seem to improve the handling too

Welcome along to this great forum

Langold ! Wow , small world. As in the place with a lake.

Worth knowing !

£299 isnt bad at all. Ill talk it thru with the boss as well. I think the RARB is a must as well..

Awesome Sarah - How much for example is the springs and RARB for a Roomster, I'm considering one to replace the Fabia in the next few months??;)

The Neuspeed rear ARB is £203.50 + VAT for the Neuspeed one ;)

That is what Tony had on his , with the springs to make it handle superbly!!!!!

The Eibach springs are £133.83 + VAT too

Hope that helps you Skodaboy ;)

Stunning handling little car that was with them parts on ;)
