i m new in this forum, i always wanted to buy a skoda & finally i have got one, i bought the FL octavia 1.8 petrol, i m from india over here the octavia is called the laura

i bought a black one so want to keep her nice & shiny all the time, over here in india we dont wash our cars with water hose or sprays, we just wash them with a bucket of water & a cloth, i want to know which cloth i should use the Synthetic-Chamois or microfiber cloth? i dont want her to get scratched :rotz: want to keep her like NEW forever what do your'll guys suggest? which cloth should i use?? i feel proud joining the skoda worldwide community waiting for the gurus to reply,

:)Hi,lots of info on cleaning and polishing your new love,first of all get all the dust and crap from the air with a good strong hose pipe then the 2 bucket system one for the shampoo and one for rinsing , ditch the chammy go for the microfibre or a woolly mitt after washing the car dry it with a clean microfibre then polish and seal with a potective product like autoglym high gloss protection your octy will smile for you and remember there is loads of references to get this job done better and better on this site;)
