i'm lookin to buy these piston to raise the compression ratio of my favorit.. what i want to know is this, will the valves hit the piston head, and doi need to do any modification to make them work properly?

i dont know anything about the 1300 skoda engines, might be worth contacting the user fruitbat on here, he's done a lot with these engines

Do you currently have a set of low-compression pistons with the relief machined into them (135 engine)? If so, then they may be an option, but the real way to raise the compression ratio on a Fav/Fel is to get the head skimmed; you can only have a slightly larger protrustion of the pistons than standard, so machining the head is the way to go. My current engine is at 11.5:1, with 26cc chambers - 1.6mm was taken off the head (although you need to accurately measure your current head volume as yours may be different)
