aditional discount on top of scrappage

Featured Replies

Hi.

I'm new here. I have just bought a new 1.8tsi elegance estate. I got £3200 off through the government scrappage scheme plus another £130 with a bit of begging/bargaining. Unfortunately for me I have since found out I could have got 4% off in addition to the 3200 scrappage - see drive the deal website scrappage section. Too late for me but hopefully this info will help someone out there get a great deal. The dealer I dealt with was adament there was no more room for manouver on price - clearly not the case.

cheers

Could you post a link as I have been unable to find it. (is the extra only on certain models, I'm due to pick up my 1.4TSI Elegance up in September and I know that this is not included in the additional scrappage discounts)

Thanks for your prompt reply Jason. However I misunderstood youor post as I didn't realize that 'Drive the Deal' were brokers. As my car is due to be delivered In September I don't want to re-order it now but thanks anyway and hopefully others may benefit.
