Its sold - say hello and wave goodbye

Featured Replies

Evening folks,

well I have enjoyed the short but truely fun 7 weeks with my Octavia vRS.

I bought the car in May but didn't start driving till July (long story). I never ever thought I would owe a Skoda but I have love it.

I decided to sell the car as I wanted something newer but I'm having difficultly finding something as nice. I test drove a Clio 182 tonight and there is very little chance of me one getting one these, you needed the strength of ten men to push the clutch in!

I didn't like the power delivery either, TURBOS are much more fun, the Clio just didn't seem as fast and trust me I pushed it lol

I have moved onto A4's now but again all high miles, my RS only had 45K. Ideally I want to stay within the VW Group but Skoda are the only good value cars I can find.

Anyway I have 2 weeks or so to find something - suggestions?

Thanks for all the advice, you have been all most helpful :)

Elliot
