Are you also getting judder when accelerating, or just slip? A new DMF may not be required.

No there is no judder. It just slips really badly to the point where I can't overtake if need be as its as if you are pushing the clutch in at the same time as the accelerator.

I would say it's just the clutch you need to replace, going on that information. I'd recommend going for a Sachs organic. Much better suited to handling remapped power, without getting silly. And you retain a near OEM feel to the clutch pedal. I had this on my old Fabia and it handled 210bhp and 340lb/ft without issue.

Where can I find me one of those? Mine is doing exactly the same as OP..though not as often I dont think...so I am looking to replace at some point. I think Sachs might be the best route...but I am getting no judder when accelerating, just the occasional blip in the rev counter. I searched Jabbasport, but they only seem to do the whole bunch for £660..or is that what I am looking at?! :confused:

Mine judders between 20-25rpm... has done since i got the remap done but touch wook 15k on still no problems and no slipping on a 55k oem clutch and fly

I'm just trying to decide whether I go for a Sachs OEM setup that's only covered 5K, or whether I just bite the bullet and go for the Sachs uprated beast that can handle 410lb-ft of torque.

beast lol thats a baby,go for the full fat spec stage 3+ clutch kit that i have for sale at the minute,rated to 600 ft lbs brand new pressure plate with 12 months warrenty from the tt shop,billet smf,and a clutch plate that will out last your engine the clutch plate has only done 8k!!! this kit as seen on eddyh's old octy,des's red devil octy and jasons mongrel so you know its tried and tested on the most powerful cars on the forum
