Timing Belt /Water Pump change

Featured Replies

Had my Timing Belt etc / Water Pump changed on 18th, see picture below of old one in very good conditiion, no cracks or bits missing.

Engine has only done 38k and has been driven a lot in "Granny mode" :), that might be a contributing factor or just lucky.

Big thanks to Alistair and Ross at UNIT 18 for doing the work :thumbup:.

I believe Skoda started fitting an uprated impeller at some point in the past, so I imagine it's that. Good to know they got it right by the looks of things!

Must admit I was wondering what they would find, the replacement (VAG part) was identical in material and shape.
