Featured Replies

A little late on this write up as I have been out in the Czech Republic, drove all the way there and back...........

Anyway, nice Porker this one:

UDM vs Porsche 996 GT3 Clubsport.......... - Detailing World

Looking forward to the next Porsche as I have soft spot for them............:o

I can't understand how the roll cage was done..any more pics ;)

Nice pictures as always!

The other two have already beaten me to it - :D

Again with the flip-flops Simbo!

Simon - Are you training Jules up so she can do her own detailing jobs in parallel?

Great work as always Simon, and after spending 8 hrs last weekend doing my own I can appreciate the hard work involved...although I didnt have a 'little helper':rotz:

Mick.

Nice car, nice detail, and nice photography sir! :)

Looking good - keep up the good work.

Cheers,

Ste.

Do you always wear your '21' shorts when you do a job?! :D

Do you always wear your '21' shorts when you do a job?! :D

That's to give that 'David Beckham' aura to the job, except he chose '23'

Unfortunately for David Beckham he got landed with Posh Spice instead of Simon's 'Detailing Buddy'

Just be thankful Simon's not just wearing his Armani pants

Loving that detail.....i think what sets that one out from the rest are the awesome recaro seats and roll cage.

How much one of these fine motors cost?

You sure Jule's fan club on detailingworld are ready for that? :D They're going to be going wild over that. You love getting them worked up don't you?

It's a double edged sword on there to be honest, I'm not favoured by most of the DW Mods for a few reasons and I think the pictures of Jules don't help but I only see it as come harmless fun........:D

Think you have seen enough.........

We have spoken about Jules doing some work during the week as she used to have her own 'House' cleaning business but she isn't a fan of using the DA's.........:o

Try too, purely because they are comfortable and light and also black but I guess it adds to the name and all that.........:D

Armani pants would not be a good look with my body and I think I would put people off reading the threads........

Was looking at an article about these a while back and the ClubSport is around £40k+ depending on mileage, etc........

Top work Mr B

TFFT

BTW - must be nice having the spare ackers to buy a Porsche just as a track car......

.........and for transporting a few odd scaffold poles to the local tip in the back :D

Some people just have too much money I guess..........

nice car, good detail there and some nice pictures !!

DW Mods either jealous of your work or your detailing buddy. Carry on i say.

P.S anyone on here with a roll cage and needs a Mr Baker Detail :D:D:D

Jealous, I doubt that mate but I have not made many friends on there to be honest, think that DW has changed a lot since I have joined which is why some of the original creators have set up another 'forum' now.........:o

I think that another car with a roll cage may well be easier to clean than this one.........:D

Great Detail, great work progress pics... and a bit of harmless fun with the roll cage pics is all i see it has... i think some of them on DW are just a bit too serious mate tbh

and very nice that you and your gf can spend time having a laugh whilst earning, as i dont reckon many gf's would be willing to become a 'detailing buddy' eh lol

Yeah maybe some of them are a little too serious but I also think that a lot of it is down to what I do and how I do it but that's another story.........:o

It's great working with Jules as she does enjoy it and loves seeing all these other cars, especially the prestigious ones........

Looks nearly as good as my vRS

Top work as always mate :)

Carl:thumbup:

I'd say its all in the end result, and not how you got there, and from what i've seen of your's and jules' work it has been nothing but top class everytime

Don't let 'em get you down matey

Carry on what you're doing, and how you're doing it :)

I also think it's changed, perhaps in the last year or so - maybe got too big too quickly? I know I don't spend as much time on there as I used to, and I reckon I can get just as good advice here anyway.

Maybe it has got too big too quickly, not sure but I think there was a lot of problems when they stated to get traders and DW supporters putting money into the site........:o
