Hello all

Despite having been a very happy owner of a 51 plate Octavia Vrs ( bought form my father who had it from 1 year old ) I have found this site and thoguth I would sign up.

At present the car is completely standard, has doen 68k miles from new but although being my every day car I am getting quite twitchy about doing some modifications.

My first thought though is should I be looking at a cam belt change now at 68k miles and possibly a water pump as I have heard its a common fault ?

Thanks for the welcome, it has had one previously but I thought I should get it done again.

am after some advise for a good speicalist in the Birmingham area ?
