My situation is I am currently driving a 2000 Fabia 1.4 16v 100bhp but only untill february when I will swap cars with my mother who is driving a 2001 Polo 1.4 16v 75bhp (for insurance and practicality purposes).

I would like to ask for advice on modifications I could make to my fabia which I could then transfer to the polo when we swap

as if you are looking to downgrade to save money on insurance and running costs any modifications are likely to off set that anyways

Yeah insurance because I am already insured on the fabia till then so its pointless being insured on both or cancelling it because it would cost a lot more than to just carry on driving the fabia till then.

Practicality because the fabia is a 5 door and the polo is a 3 door (sorry I forgot to mention that) and my mother needs a 5 door way more than I do.

I wasn't thinking performance modifications, more aesthetic?
