High octane petrol is not readily available everywhere in India. Our regular fuel is 91 RON whereas my owners manual recommends 95 RON for my 1.8TSi Superb.

Please suggest some tried and tested octane boosters for this engine. Are their any octane boosters that are Skoda approved?

I'm not sure tehre are many UK users who would use an octane booster, as 95RON is the norm, with 97/98/99 and even 102RON readily available...

Would a meth injection kit do a similar job with less mucking about?

I know someone who uses NF Race Formula Europe in their VRS in South Africa (only when they can't get the right octane fuel).

Not sure what the difference between the Europe and non-Europe version is, but there were some problems with some of the sensors when using the non-Europe version.

reading through some Indian forums - it sounds like 97ron is fairly common. Is this the case or not?
