remap - but insurance Refused

Featured Replies

Hi All

Wanted a remap done on my Elegance 130 BHP (would have gone from 130 BHP to roughly 170 BHP), an increase of 30 % of power.

I spoke to my insurance to see how much my premium would increase and they refused to cover it.

Not sure how to get round it besides getting a newer car.

Anyway, has anyone had insurance refused for a remap?

Go to a different insurance company. Adrian Flux on here do some cracking prices on modified cars....

I've been a member of adrian flux for a few years now, i've never added that im part of a owners clubs/forum.

Would i be entitled to a discount at renewal?

Might depend on whether 'full member' means just being subscribed or being a freedom member

Yes, Dan means Freedom members.

Oh right, thanks guys!
