Rear Diffuser

Featured Replies

Has anyone retrofitted a rear diffuser and exhaust pipe end piece to a Fabia 3 1.9TDI? Is it a DIY job and does the rear bumber have to be cut or modified to take the diffuser? Both are listed as accessories in the Fabia brochure. Thank you.

you will have to cut a small part of the bumper for the exhaust pipe

all you do is put the defuser on the bumper (make sure its square and centred) draw around it in a whiteboard marker and cut the bumper for the exhaust, it doesnt matter if you cut too much out the defuser will hide it.

Hope this will help you, its off Milotec's webby, plenty of fabia mk 2 gear on there might be worth looking on

Hi,

I live in India and I have the fabia facelift 2 /2011 model, will this diffuser in the above link fit for my car, any one can provide me the links for the diffuser and the price.

I noticed there is a hook which projects from the back side, was wondering If there were any cosmetic modification done for indian version, please provide me your inputs

Help appreciated

@Santosh61

That hook you describe is for towing the car in case of emergency e.g. stucked in mud, accident, etc.

yes it will. So will the MC style rear bumper extension which just glues onto the bottom of the original bumper and you don't have to trim the bumper to fit.

Hi,

May I know what does 'MC style' rear bumper mean,

Can you provide me links for that.

Any idea on the pricing.

Thanks

sorru, i meant Monte Carlo! (MC for short). As per below;

I got mine straight from Skoda themselves, if they dont know then go to www.skoda.com and its in the Fabia accesories. Skoda UK for some reason still show the Fabia sytling kit that is for the pe-facelift version, the front splitter of which wont fit as the bumper is a different shape!

Hi, I am going to buy the rear bumper diffuser for my fabia 2 combi, does any one can give an idea about what colour you can spray it.

Is it gloss black or matt black, my fabia colour is tangerine orange.

Thanks for help!!

Edited by aussiehtp

You could spray it any colour you like! Personally I would go for gloss black. That's what I'm re-spraying mine to.

But when I search google they all look matt black, I a little bit confused!!
