Just want to know, will K and N panel filter from a 1.9tdi octy mk1 fit into an OCTY Mk2 Tdi PD VRS or do I need to buy a new one?

I's be interested to know if it actually would make a difference over a std paper one....

Well, It makes a difference (In my Opinion) on the 1.9tdi -

When I put it on, it made a nicer intake sound, if thats possible on a diesel, and seemed to free it up a little - just my opinion though - not based on tests or anything...

Apparently the gain is likely to be only 1 or 2 horsepower if any! but a lot better if you free up the exhaust as well....

However, looking at it economically it cost me £30 and lasted 4 years which is good money well spent.

So does anyone know will the Mk1 1.9tdi panel filter fit in the Mk2 PD VRS?

You could check out the filter parts numbers against the VAG engines in question on the K&N website.
