90bhp diesel boost controller

Featured Replies

hey guy's

I really want to clear that annoying low revv turbo lag it has beneeth 1500rpm.

I've been doing a bit more reading about turbo's, (dangerous i know lol).

Can I fit a boost controller to my car? 90bhp diesel octy.

and will that solve the problem? Or is there a better mod I can do?

What you have below 1_500rpm isn't so much turbo lag as no exhaust gas speed to turn the turbo over and generate boost.

Accordingly, what you need is not a boost controller, which lets you change the maximum boost level, but something to keep the turbo spinning at low revs. Wizards of NOS have done some work on using NOS injection as an anti-lag system for gearshifting. If that's not what you want, I think you're looking at compound turbocharging and supercharging., and that's going to cost £Lots to develop.

yes see i read about nos a few months ago, and i thought it was a brilliant idea since it cant harm a diesel engine :)

But my nearest refilling station i can find is 60 miles away

I read somewhere on here that fitting the 110 bhp models injectors would help.

Anyone know how much they are or the part number for them?
