Rebel Motorsport Club is pleased to announce...

On Saturday the 7th November we will be off to Power Station for the Rebel Motorsport Club annual Rolling Road Day.

No excuses we are giving you plenty of notice to book time off work write your sick notes and get your cars ready for another great Rolling Road day out, with a short country drive for a meal afterwards, and not forgetting a few photos along the way.

Again we have a maximum of 35 places available to us, costing £35 each All cars are welcome whether it be a 4WD, RWD or FWD.

By all means show your interest however your name will not be added to the list until the deposit has been paid (as always payment will secure your place)

To those of you who just want to watch

Can I just point out this is a partaking event... as most of you know there is only a small viewing area and I think it is very unfair if pple just turn up to watch after all the club is all about joining in and taking part. So please dont turn up just to watch.

However by all means for those that dont want to run on the rolling road you can always meet up with us later on for the pub lunch.

Competition

Basically, PowerStation have given us a free run so we thought we'd offer the free run as a prize, (yes we really are a non profit making club :-D ).

This is how it will work...

Same as last year... If you would like to take part (and you are obviously running your car!) then all you need to do is provide us with a number. This number will be your guess as to the total horsepower of all the cars running on the day (we are talking clutch/flywheel power here). After the day has completed I will request all the results from PowerStation and add them up to determine the total. The person with the nearest guess will have their £35 refunded within a day or two after the Event. Once chosen, a particular number cannot be chosen again. In the result of two people being within the same distance of the result, the person closest under the actual total figure will be declared the winner.

For example - the total is 2500bhp.

Mrs X - guesses 2495

Mr Y - guesses 2505

Both are within 5bhp but Mrs X is declared the winner for being closest under the total figure.

Once we receive all the details a list of cars will be given.

Due to the number of members whom have already paid to secure their place we are happy to say that this event is now guaranteed to go ahead (not that we doubted it of course!)

There are still places available if you would like to join us, please note payment must be with us by or before the 30th October 2009, we will not be excepting late payments sorry, and we have a maximum of 35 places which was reached last year before the cut off date so payment is the only way to secure your place.

This is just a reminder that payment for this event is due in this Friday 30th October 2009, we will not be taking money after this date and we only have a few spaces left so please make sure your payment is made by the due date, click here for methods of payment.
