I registered on here a while back, but I just paid for Freedom membership (mostly so I can advertise my wheels for sale :sorry:) so I thought I'd say hello.

I have a boggo standard Octavia Mk1 RS, which my partner usually drives. My normal transport is a Leon Cupra R with Revo stage 2 & coilovers etc., and I have an Ibiza GTI track project.

We live on the south coast in 'The Last Resort'

The Octavia

and the Ibiza

I don't have any decent shots of the Leon. I might have to do something about that when I get the wheels back from being re-furbed.

The other Ibiza in the photos is my son's. As I have been stripping bits out of my GTI they have been going in his car, so he now has a 1.4CL with half leather seats and electric windows :cool:

ODB port not connecting to scanner

I have a 2010 Fabia 1.2 and the ODB port isn't playing ball. Tried 2 different scanners and they both fail to auth with the ECU. I initially thought it might be a bad fuse so I replaced num 22, didnt change a thing. Slipped the port out of the dash and made sure that the wires are fully seated in the connector, no change. I've tried with electrics on and also engine on, doesn't make a difference. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to look for next?

Hi again. I have a 1.6 tdi My daughter recently had to sell her VW Sharan after the DPF was pronounced dead. At least 2K to fix,probably much more.Her car was low mileage,full service history. Can I protect the DPF on our much older vehicle,are there options if it clogs up? Thankyou

I have a 7 seat edition on order but as a stock car it has lane assist but I wasn't able to specify the fatigue detection or traffic sign recognition which were on the nice to have but non essential list. Is it likely I will be able to enable these or get them enabled by someone using VCDS? Is there anything else I might want to get enabled at the same time? Thanks

So had both rear control arms replaced as the bolt was seized so I couldnt get the tracking done..now the tracking place say they can't get the camber inside spec because there is no adjustment for that and it will be OK as toe is good now.. Have attached the results.. Is the camber adjustment not this bolt in the pic..(which stands a chance is seized aswell)

Is it really the fastest Fabia that Skoda sold? Weight / Power compared to a Mk2 Fabia vRS. Well over twice the price 15 years later than the vRS, & even a Polo GTI Twincharger from 2010. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/527769-skoda-news/page/2
