Booked in for re-map!

Featured Replies

 Finally booked the vrs in for a remap and forge 007p. After much searching on the internet about where to go I have decided to go to R-Tech.

ECU Remapping, Performance Engine Tuning, R-tech

Its a couple of hours drive but having read all the reviews on GTi forums (www.golfgtiforum.co.uk & www.ukmkivs.net ) they seem to be in the know about what they are doing and have offered good service.

Only problem is I cant get down there until 23rd September so I'll be counting down the days.

I will be putting a review on here afterwards and hopefully I'll manage to upload some rolling road graphs for all to see so keep your eyes open

Before you finally decide I suggest you PM AwesomeSarah. They are much closer to you (Irlam, Manchester)

Thanks

They were on the list but seem very expensive for what is a generic map.

stick with r-tech you have made a good choice very good company and good remaps aswell. have been in a car with this map and it pulls so hard:D

and there customer service is simply brilliant and this is all feedback ive had from customers of them i know.

very big on the mk1v forum and has a great rep:thumbup:

I have had excellent customer service from Nick.

I had a problem after the remap (which Nick had already pointed out) and asked for advice on the forum. He called me the next day for more details and gave me the same solutions he gave me at the time of the remap.

I replaced both the DV & MAF so not sure what cured it but it worked. He then called a couple of weeks later as he hadn't heard from me and just wanted to check everything was OK.

We will be going up there in the near future for a RR :)

Thank for the information, I'm even more confident I've made a good choice.

I'm having the forge 007p fitted aswell with the yellow spring, new clips and hoses, £85 fitted. It'd be rude not to!

It takes a lot of hard work dedication to keep a 100% positive feedback. We all work hard on the products and customer service and its nice to see all the hard work doesn't go un-noticed.

Cheers Guys!

Hi

How did you get on at R-Tech I live about 3miles away from them & have just brought a Mk1 VRS Octavia 05 plate this week. Wanting to remap & get an induction kit. I was thinking of going to Jabba Sport but if these guys are good they are only around the corner!!

Can you feel the difference is there any else that you should look out for. How much did it cost?

Thanks

G Unit:rolleyes:
