Hello all

Just joined up to get solid gold advice and tips on potential Fabia VRS purchase. I almost bought a petrol Octavia VRS early last year, first a red mk1 then a blue mk2 (if that's the right way to refer to them?) but in the end I held onto my cash.

However, my Focus is thoroughly boring me now ...it's a worthy TDCi 115 bhp model from 2002 but I just want something a bit more fun! So I fancy a Fabia VRS with a bit more power than standard, say 180bhp. I'll be doing some searching around on the forum for advice on what to avoid and what to look out for ,,,you know the kind of thing, DMF issues (yup, I got bitten when the Focus DMF started to fail, although I paid ALOT less to repair it than Ford were asking for!!), where the reputable remapping companies are, what to do to enhance roadholding etc.
