I found the advice about removing blood with just cold water on a bit of kitchen towel worked perfectly. It's a brilliant material.

I've tried with dried chocolate and with something unknnown that looked dark orange like dried iiron rust. (¿?)

I've found that if water is not enough you can wipe hard stains with a suede brush.
