Look like a bit of an afterthought to me, due to the lack of a suitable flat surface on the calipers...

Those don't look so much photoshopped on as MSPainted on the calipers

The photomspaint images don't fill em with confidence however i think they have potential to look ok, maybe just with less color to the image to make the RS less OTT and a nicely refurbed set of calipers.
