Hi,

I've not noticed this earlier but now the "1/100 KM reading" on the display fluctuates alot.

Is this common that I've not noticed earlier? or is there any fault in the system?

There are 2 different fuel consumption readout modes on the trip computer. One does trip/tank consumption, and the other does instantaneous consumption, changing every 2 or 3 seconds and reading anywhere between about 1 and 50l/100km, or even "---.-" if you're slowing down with a closed throttle, and more than about 1_500rpm.
