Thinking of getting a vrs

Featured Replies

HI I AM THINKING OF GETTING A,,,,,,,,,, VRS .......WHAT ONE IS THE BEST,, AND WHAT SHOULD I LOOK OUT FOR ,,WHAT IS THE BEST COLOUR

Do you need a new keyboard? Looks like your caps lock is jammed on and your comma and full stop keep getting stuck.

I personally would go for the CR diesel engine. all the fun without the fuel bill... although if your looking at an older one there a bit noisy.

Colour is always down to personal preference but speed blue seems to be the colour of choice.

I prefer the understated look so have gone for grey.

You buying new or second hand?

Firstly can you please turn off your caps lock, it's considered shouting or rude.

Thank you.

The choices are:

2,0 (200bhp) Petrol or 2,0 (170bhp) Common Rail Diesel.

Both come with the choice of manual or DSG gearboxes and in Hatchback or Estate form.

Your choice should probably be made with the amount of miles you do in a year & with regard to your licence & insurance status.

Colours available are: Race Blue, Sprint Yellow, Black Magic Pearl, Corrida Red, Brilliant Silver & Candy White (Your preference) Race Blue is quite common.

Stop thinking about it and do it, diesel may be fun and with a stage 1 remap 200+ bhp and mucho torque, but......the petrol is the nuts, screw the fuel bill:rofl:

I've got black myself, it looks particularly awesome with the colour coded grill (and it can double as a hearse!) However given the choice,I think I would go white next time.

Race blue....common.....nah :D

Personally, I would go for Silver or White (I would like to be a little bit less in ya face after having a blue one for over 3 years), petrol with a re-map and probably DSG and some other options (parking sensors, maxi dot, cruise etc, etc). As for estate or hatch - hum, the jury is still out on that? I think im leaning towards estate but the Mrs isnt having any of it at he moment...

Popular would my word of choice, think the blue looks best in hatch, but I actually think the estate is the way forward if uve got kids and a dog.
